1901년, 1911년, 1932년에 각각 발행된 박지원의 견문록으로 전체 26권 10책으로 구성되어 있다. 작가인 박지원은 1870년 청나라에 사신으로 가서 북중국과 남만주 일대를 돌며 중국의 명사와 유적지를 들러 본 감상과 기록을 남긴 것이다. 한편 박지원은 단순한 여행의 기록뿐 아니라 당대의 사회문제도 함께 언급했다.

The Jehol Diary was written by Bak Jiwon, a scholar who left behind a travelogue of his extensive tour of the northern and southern territory of China during the Qing dynasty in 1870. His travel records cover disparate topics such as history, customs, and contemporary issues at the time. This travelogue is divided into 26 chapters in ten volumes, and it was published in 1901, 1911, and  1932.
