2007년에 첫 출간된 신달자 시인의 열한 번째 시집이다. 표제작인 <열애>를 포함하여 64편의 시가 수록되어 있다. 시인은 이번 시집을 통해 자신의 깊은 상처를 솔직하게 드러내며 실존적인 고민을 털어놓는다. 특히 삶의 무게를 감당하는 '몸'에 관한 시들은 삶에 대한 강한 애정을 보여준다.

Published in 2007, this eleventh collection by Shin Dalja introduces 64 of her poems including the title poem “Passionate Love.” In this collection of poems about the body that bears the weight of life, Shin shares her pain and contemplations on existential questions, and ends with an adamant affirmation of life.
