Plot
Im Bo-hyung falls in love with Kim Il-ryeon, the younger sister of a friend from his student days in Tokyo, but he is rejected because he was already married at a young age. Heartbroken, Im Bo-hyeong leaves Joseon and wanders from country to country. Aboard a ship from Shanghai to Vladivostok, Im Bo-hyeong meets Kim Il-ryeon Kim again, and the two of them leave together for an unknown destination.
