1993년에 출간된 신경림 시인의 여섯 번째 시집이다. 66편의 시가 4부에 나뉘어 수록되어 있다. <농무> 이후 지속적으로 현실참여적인 시를 발표해온 시인은 이번 시집에서 버림받은 것들의 설움을 노래한다. 소외된 이들의 삶을 되짚어보고, 우리 사회의 내면을 되돌아보게 만드는 시들이 수록되었다.

This sixth collection of Shin Kyeong-nim’s poems was published in 1993. Divided into four parts, the collection introduces 66 of his poems. After the publication of Farmers’ Dance, Shin continued to speak on behalf of the marginalized and the outcast, and to re-examine us and our society for the roles we play in our problematic social structure.
