Father stays with Mother, who is unable to forget her first love, and takes care of Woo-hyeon, who is not his own son. Then Woo-hyeon has a seizure after losing both legs in the army and lives like an animal. Mother wanders through the red light district, searching for Woo-hyeon. Meanwhile, Woo-hyeon’s younger brother Ki-hyeon falls in love with Woo-hyeon’s ex-girlfriend, Soon-mee, and marries her. But when Soon-mee finds out that Ki-hyeon takes Woo-hyeon to brothels, she asks Ki-hyeon to disguise her as a prostitute and take her to Woo-hyeon. They all give up their love and lives like giving trees.
