2003년에 출간된 윤흥길의 연작 소설집이다. 환갑을 앞둔 초등학교 동기들이 모여 그들의 어린 시절을 회상하며 이야기가 구성된다. 그들이 겪은 전쟁 시기는 소설에서 흔히 묘사되는 것처럼 참혹하지 않다. 오히려 전쟁 시기임에도 불구하고 순진무구하고도 익살 넘치는 악동들의 세계를 드러내고 있다.

Published in 2003, this novel by Yun Heunggil tells the story of a group of friends in their old age who reminisce about their childhood. Although they experienced the war in their childhood, their descriptions of the war are not cruel or miserable. In spite of experiencing the war, they remember their childhood with humor, innocence, and adventure.
