1986년에 출간된 김양식 시인의 네 번째 시집이다. 시인은 초기에 여성의 일상을 다룬 시들을 주로 발표했으나, 점차 민족의 아픔에 공감하며 약자의 대변자로서의 시를 창작하기 시작했다. 특히 후기에는 인도철학의 영향을 많이 받은 것으로 평가된다.

Published in 1986, this fourth collection of Kim Yang-shik’s poems shows the shift in the poet’s interest from women and their daily life to issues of historical turmoil in the country, and she begins to use the medium of poetry to speak on behalf of the marginalized. Her later poems have been heavily influenced by Indian philosophy.
