1972년에 출간된 정현종 시인의 첫 시집이다. 수록되어 있는 55편의 시들은 전쟁 후의 허무적 관념이나 자연에 대한 시 풍조에서 벗어나 개인의 개성에 대한 예찬을 담고 있다. 대립되는 삶의 감각들을 조화시키려는 노력이 개성적이고 감각적인 언어로 형상화되고 있다.

Published in 1972, this collection by Chong Hyon-jong introduces 55 of his poems in which he celebrates individualism, unlike his previous poems about nature or cynicism after the war. In his poems, Chong tries to bring together different fragments of life in poignant language.
