2004년에 출간된 나희덕 시인의 시집이다. 표제시인 <사라진 손바닥>을 포함하여 55편의 시가 4부로 나뉘어 수록되어 있다. 이 시집은 나희덕 특유의 간결하고 절제된 문장으로 이루어져 있으며, 내 안의 어둠과 밝음이라는 두 세계의 대립이 감각적으로 형상화되고 있다.

Published in 2004 and divided into four parts, this collection by Ra Heeduk introduces 55 of his poems including the title poem “Scale and Stairs.” In a simple and restrained language which is typical of the poet, he portrays the two opposite inner worlds, light and darkness.
