2014년에 출간된 김정란의 장편소설이다. 작품은 진정한 '속죄'가 인간 사회의 발전을 가능하게 만든다는 주제를 다루고 있다. 도깨비에서 연금술까지 동서양의 다양한 신화를 적절하게 재구성하여 이야기의 흥미를 높였다. 주인공 '비형'이 악의 세력으로부터 자신을 지키는 모험판타지라고 할 수 있다.

Published in 2014, this novel by Kim Jeong-ran presents a story with the theme that true penance leads to progress and development. It is an adventure fantasy in which the main character Biyeong defeats evil. The story also introduces dokkaebi, alchemy, and Asian myths and folktales.
