Yun-jae, an acrobat, is like a father to the members of the circus troupe, Irwol Acrobatic Troupe. Yun-jae and members of the acrobatic troupe travel across the country to perform. When Jun-pyo, the leader of the acrobatic troupe, collapses, his younger brother, Gwang-pyo, becomes the new leader. Tired of Gwang-pyo's corruption and violence, the members of the troupe leave one by one, and are replaced by new members. Eventually, Irwol Acrobatic Troupe is divided into two groups, existing members and new members, which result in conflicts. Then, one day, Gwang-pyo wields violence, and Yun-jae who confronts him collapses. Due to this incident, the members who followed Yun-jae leave the troupe.
