1995년에 출간된 김금화의 에세이다. 17살에 무당이 된 저자의 삶을 기록한 글이다. 1967년 전국민속경연대회에서 배연신굿으로 개인상을 수상하는 등 미신이 아닌 전통의 차원에서 굿을 대중화하였다.

Published in 1995, this collection of essays was written by Kim Kum-hwa, who became a shaman at the age of 17. In 1967, she received the best individual performer award from the National Folk Performance Contest for her performance of baeyeonsin guk. She is the pioneer who transformed guk into a traditional performance rather than a shamanic ritual.
