1999년에 출간된 오세영 시인의 열 번째 시집이다. 1부 '출가행', 2부 '정한부', 3부 '고죽도', 4부 '등신불'로 구성되어 있으며, 총 60편의 시가 수록되어 있다. 시인은 동양적 관조가 느껴지는 <구룡사 시편>들을 이번 시집에 수록한 한편, 자연속 생명들의 묘사하며 생명의 유한함을 드러낸다.

This eleventh collection of Oh Sae-young’s poems was published in 1999. Introducing 60 of his poems, the collection is divided into four parts: “Taking the Tonsure,” “Feelings and Regrets,” “Bamboo Island,” and “Buddha Statues.” The collection expresses life in nature and the finite nature of life, and it also includes Oh’s “Guryongsa Poem,” with its contemplation on Buddhism.
