This novel by Hwang Seyoun about a possible war scenario in Korea and US involvement was published in 2003. With a spy discovered on the east coast, South Koreans are ready to severe their relationship with North Korea as the US prepares for war. The novel raises the question over who has the right to decide the future of the country.
