1997년에 출간된 시인 김춘수의 시집이다. 러시아의 소설가 도스토예프스키의 소설을 되풀이해 읽으며 든 자신의 감상, 혹은 인물과의 만남을 시로 표현했다. 시인은 인간의 비극적 존재양상을 도스토예프스키의 소설들을 통해 그려보고자 했고, 인물들 간의 대화, 편지 등의 형식으로 시를 구상하였다.

Published in 1997, this collection by Kim Chun-su introduces poems which were inspired by Dostoevsky’s novels and characters. The poet transforms the tragic figures in Dostoevsky’s novels and the characters’ conversations and letters into poetic figures and ideas in his poems.
