Plot

Born into a poor family, Ichido is treated as a problem child. But he overcomes all criticisms and trials and becomes an adult. He is the thief of thieves, and he becomes a righteous thief in this absurd society.

This novel by Song Sokze, published in 2007, is a revised version of his novel Sunjeong (Pure love), which was published in 2000. It is a tragic story of a hero that follows the protagonist from his troubled childhood to his rise as a hero and eventually his downfall.

2007년에 출간된 성석제의 장편소설로, 2000년에 출간된 <순정>의 개정판이다. 주인공이 시련을 거쳐 영웅이 된 후 몰락하기 까지의 과정을 그린 비극적 영웅담이다.
