1979년에 출간된 박범신의 소설집이다. 2015년에 출간된 박범신중단편전집(제2권)<흉기>에 표제작<덫>이 수록되어 있다. 작품들은 인간들의 욕망이라는 덫이 집어삼키는 윤리와 도덕, 가진 자와 가난한 자들의 차이 등 산업화가 가속된 1970년대와 1980년대 한국사회의 부조리를 비판하고 있다.

Published in 1979, this collection of Park Bum-shin’s short stories includes the title story “The Trap,” which is also included in the collection of Park Bum-shin’s stories titled Assault Weapon and published in 2015. The stories criticize inequality and injustice in Korean society during the rapid industrialization of the 1970s and 1980s, when the trap of greed destroyed any sense of ethics and morality, and created an insurmountable gap between the haves and have-nots.
