Plot
Yeon works for the government in North Korea after Korea is liberated from Japan, but unable to endure political oppression, he leaves North Korea and comes to the South. During the Korean War, he fights for South Korea and loses his legs. His girlfriend Mihye works as a prostitute and loses her vision.
