Plot

A man becomes acquainted with Junho by chance in Los Angeles, and the two of them begin an aimless journey. Junho, who stirred up trouble in Korea by smoking marijuana, bursts into tears out of his desire to return home to his family in Korea, and the man is also liberated from the anger that pervaded him.

This is a short story by Choi In-ho, published in Munye Jungang in 1982. The author reveals the frustration and despair that prevailed in Korean society in the 1970s through the alienation and unhappiness felt by the characters.

1982년 <문예중앙>봄 호에 발표한 최인호의 소설이다. 작가는 1970년대 한국사회에 만연한 좌절과 절망을 작중인물들이 느끼는 소외감과 불행으로 드러내었다.
