1977년에 발표한 최인호의 단편소설이다. 1983에 출간된 소설집에 수록되었고, 2002년에 출간된 최인호중단편전집<즐거운 우리들의 천국>(제3권)에 수록되어 있다. 작품은 인간소외의 문제와 그 현실적 무게를 다뤄서 한국문단의 깊이를 더했다는 평가를 받는다.

This short story by Choi Inho was published in 1977. It was later included in a collection of his stories published in 1983, and also in Our Blissful Heaven, another collection of his short stories published in 2002. The story was praised by critics for its in-depth and realistic depiction of alienation, and its contribution to Korean literature.
