Dieses Buch enthält die Übersetzung eines Essays zum Thema Dichtung, und außerdem die vollständige Übersetzung des Gedichtbandes "Broken Words" von Ynhui Park. Es ist die letzte von fünf Sammlungen seiner Gedichte, und es ist die einzige, die nicht in seiner koreanischen Muttersprache geschrieben wurde.

Die Gedichte von Ynhui Park sind ein integraler Teil seines umfangreichen, in koreanischer und zum Teil auch in englischer und französischer Sprache geschriebenen philosophischen und schriftstellerischen Gesamtwerks. Dieses Buch enthält die vollständige Übersetzung des in koreanischer Sprache erschienenen Gedichtbandes »Kongbaek ey Keurimja«, der in der englischen Übersetzung den Titel »Shadows of the Void« trägt, und eines Essays zum Thema Dichtung. Dieser Essay fragt nach dem Wesen von Dichtung und nach der Möglichkeit ihrer Entstehung und gibt wichtige Hinweise zum Verständnis der Gedichte. Les poésies que nous présentons ici sont traduites du recueil L'Ombre du vide (공백의 그림자) publié en coréen en 2006 à Séoul. C'est une anthologie de la production poétique de l’auteur de 1979 à 1989.
