This event was designed to raise the interest of Koreans in Zainichi Korean writers and their works and to provide a platform for exchange between Korean writers and Zainichi Korean writers. Eight scholars of Zainichi Korean literature presented their papers in two sessions, which was followed by discussions and a Q&A session. The poster for the symposium lists program schedule and the venue, as well as information on the overarching theme of the symposium, “Tying and Untying the Knot – For the New Future of Zainichi Korean Literature.”
