Co-organized by the TIBF Executive Committee and Reed Exhibitions Japan, the Tokyo International Book Fair (TIBF) deals with various publications, journals, magazines, newspapers, maps, and travel guides from around the world, as well as such related products as bookmarks, book covers and book stands. In the 2016, the book fair was renewed as an event for general readers with the aim of promoting public interest in books and enriching the whole reading culture. However, the effort was suspended in 2017 due to lukewarm responses from readers.
