Kim Jeongyeon is a South Korean graphic novelist. In 2017, she received a lot of attention from readers with Honjareul gireuneun beop (혼자를 기르는 법 How To Raise Yourself) for effectively telling a women’s narrative. In 2016, while serializing the work, she won the Today’s Korean Manhwa Award. l  Graphic novel Honjareul gireuneun beop (혼자를 기르는 법 How To Raise Yourself) (2017-2018), l  Iserin gaideu (이세린 가이드 The Leeselin Guide) (2021)

김정연은 한국의 만화가다. 작가는 2017년 <혼자를 기르는 법>으로 만화에서 여성서사가 적절하게 구현되었다는 평을 받았으며 독자들로부터 큰 주목을 받았다. 2016년 연재 당시 이 작품으로 2016년 '오늘의 우리만화상'을 수상했다.
