Kim Choonkyu is a South Korean novelist. He made his literary debut in 2005 when he won the Yeongnam Ilbo Spring Literary Contest. He writes about human greed and the life of the people who are wounded in turbulent history, such as the division of the Korean Peninsula, ideological conflict, and North Korean defectors. He is the winner of the 21st Century Literature New Writer’s Award (2012). l  Novel Haejeogui bada (해적의 바다 The Sea of Pirates) (2015) l  Short story collection Du beonjjae dal (두 번째 달 The Second Moon) (2014)

김춘규는 한국의 소설가다. 2005년 <영남일보>신춘문예에 당선되며 작품활동을 시작했다. 작가는 분단, 이념의 갈등, 탈북자 문제 같은, 역사의 소용돌이 속에서 상처 입은 민초들의 삶과 인간의 욕망을 소설의 주제로 삼고 있다. 21세기문학 신인상(2012)을 수상했다.
