Shin Dongwoo (1936-1994) is a South Korean graphic novel artist. He began his career in 1953 when he published Ddatdoriui moheom (땃돌이의 모험 The Adventure of Ddatdori). His graphic novels include Korean reinterpretations of Chinese classics such as Suhoji (수호지 Water Margin) and Samgukji (삼국지 Records of the Three Kingdoms), as well as works based on Korean history. He made a huge contribution to popularizing Korean graphic novels.

신동우(1936~1994)는 한국의 만화가다. 1953년 <땃돌이의 모험>을 발표하며 작품활동을 시작했다. 작가는 <수호지>, <삼국지>와 같은 중국 고전을 한국적으로 해석하여 만화로 만들었고 한국의 역사를 소재로 삼은 작품을 다수 출간했다. 또한 한국 만화의 대중화에 큰 기여를 했다. 


申东雨(1936-1994)，韩国漫画家。1953年发表了《流浪汉的冒险》（《땃돌이의 모험》），从此开始创作活动。作家用韩国漫画的表现方式重新诠释了《水浒传》、《三国志》等中国古典文学，同时还推出了多部以韩国历史为题材的漫画作品，对韩国漫画的大众化做出了重要贡献。
