For the inaugural iteration of the “translator-in-residence” program put on by the Translation Studies Hub (TSH), prolific literary translator Anton Hur came to UW on April 30 to speak about the challenges of translation and how it often creates a feeling similar to jet lag.

Porter will be joined by Nigerian-British writer, director and photographer Caleb Femi, Sana Goyal, editor and publishing director of Wasafiri literary magazine, Korean novelist and translator Anton Hur and English musician Beth Orton.
