Yi Hyeon-su est née à Yeongdong dans la province du Chungcheongbuk-do en 1959. Elle fait ses débuts littéraires en 1991 avec la publication de Le présage de cette catastrophe a commencé au bout de mes doigts (Geu jaenanui jojimeun son-garageseo sijakdoe-eotda) dans le journal Chungcheong Ilbo. En 1996, elle reçoit le prix littéraire Kim Yoo-jung pour son roman La toile d'araignée (Geomijip). En 1997, elle reçoit le prix du Nouvel écrivain décerné par la revue littéraire Munhakdongne pour sa nouvelle Entre les jours secs (mareun nalldeul sa-i-e).

 

Lee HyunSu (1959-) is a South Korean novelist who debuted in 1991 through Chungcheong Daily News with the short story “Geu jaenanui jojimeun songarageseobuteo sijakdoeeotda” (그 재난의 조짐은 손가락에서부터 시작되었다 Signs of the Disaster Started With a Finger), and began writing in earnest in 1997 with the short story “Mareun naldeul saie” (마른 날들 사이에 Between Dry Days), which was published in Munhakdongne. Lee’s novel Sin gisaengdyeon (신 기생뎐 New Tales of Gisaeng) (2005) was adapted into a TV drama, and was translated and published in France, Germany, and Russia.

이현수(1959~)는 한국의 소설가다. 1991년 《충청일보》에 단편소설 <그 재난의 조짐은 손가락에서부터 시작되었다>를 발표하였으며, 1997년 《문학동네》에 단편소설 <마른 날들 사이에>를 발표하며 본격적인 문단 활동을 시작하였다. 특히 장편소설 <신 기생뎐>(2005)은 드라마로 제작되었으며 프랑스, 독일, 러시아 3개 국어로 번역 출간되었다.


李贤洙(1959-)，韩国小说家。1991年在《忠清日报》发表短篇小说《那场灾难的征兆始于指尖》（《그 재난의 조짐은 손가락에서부터 시작되었다》），1997年在《文学村》发表短篇小说《在枯燥的日子之间》（《마른 날들 사이에》），从此正式投身创作工作。他创作的长篇小说《新妓女传》（《신기생뎐》，2005）不仅被改编为电视剧，还被译成法语、德语和俄语出版。
