Five authors of Korean thrillers you should be reading, by Paula WoodsEnglish(English) Author Interview
Los Angeles Times / February 14, 2020
The list of top Korean crime novelists published in English — some of whom I’ve read, others I can’t wait to read — is woefully short but sure to grow. Some are pure mystery writers, others more literary but dabbling in the genre, as does much of the best writing coming from Korea today.

Ecodellalunigiana / March 11, 2017

Source: http://www.amica.it/dailytips/la-guardia-il-poeta-e-linvestigatore-di-jung-myung-lee/?refresh_ce-cp

The Investigation: J. M. Lee and The Lost Korean PoetEnglish(English) Author Interview
The Huffington Post / August 14, 2015
Just as World War II ended in 1945, the Korean War began. It's lead up caused by the recent global war that divided Korea into North and South, and also from the rising tensions of what would become the largest mind game of a war in world history, the Cold War. Korea's Civil War had been in the making within its own country for several years as well due to political movements and disconnected ideologies, and while most of the world focused its fighting in Europe during the early 1940's, many Koreans were waging a battle against their own people. source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/steven-petite/the-investigation-j-m-lee_b_7986044.html
