This is a series of novels by Suh Ki-Won, published between 1971 and 1972. In 1972, it was published as a collection titled Marok Yeoljeon (The tale of Marok). Placing the modern and the classics in the same time frame, it embodies the spirit of traditional satire in the modern style. It is considered to indirectly criticize and satirize the military regime of the 1970s.

This is a short novel by Suh Ki-Won, published in Sasanggye in June 1960. It reveals the tragic reality post-Korean War through the wanderings of young people. In particular, the part where the protagonist responds with madness to the difficult reality, such as impulsively committing murder and going to the brothel, shows the youth’s abnormal psychological state.
