人生是凄凉的，少年早已感悟。
十三岁的少年尚镇，他的父亲是爆破工程师，因为事故而落下残疾，只能窝在家里做不切实际的梦。母亲独自维持生计，拼命赚钱。每天早出晚归笑脸奉献给酗酒的客人，独自咽下委屈和泪水。哥哥是弱智儿，恍然不知世事，一家人蜗居于荒芜的生活中挣扎。
现实的残酷让少年与一只似真似幻的银狐产生了凄凉的共鸣。经过一番艰苦的生存斗争和坚守，尽管生活依旧贫困窘迫，但家人却因变故与磨难而增加了彼此之间的理解，梦想并未破灭，而少年的成长也真正开始。
