The theme of the 63rd issue of KLN is “Breath, Respite, and Emptiness.” In the Cover Feature, a critic, a writer, and a poet discuss the issue’s theme. The Featured Writer section presents an interview with the featured novelist Choi Eunmi, her short story “That Place,” and an essay on her artistic world. The Bookmark section features short story “Anatomical Part” by Lim Solah and “Representation and Presentation” by Yun Haeseo, as well as two poems each by poets Lee Min-ha and Hwang Yuwon. For classical fiction, this issue features an English translation of The Tale of Unyŏng. A team of reviewers consisting of critics, writers, a professor, and an editor have written reviews of five books, Mater 2-10 by Hwang Sok-yong, Impossibles Adieux by Han Kang, Semilla (Seed) by Bora Chung, One-letter Dictionary by Kim So Yeon, and Father’s Liberation Diary by Jeong Ji A.
