2016년에 출간된 박건웅의 장편만화다. 작품은 1999년 출간된 양우조, 최선화의 육아일기를 그래픽노블로 재출간한 것이다. 중국 상하이 임시정부에서 독립운동을 했던 양우조, 최선화가 딸 제시를 키우면서 기록한 육아일기로, 1938년부터 1946년까지 고통스러운 시기의 삶을 기록한 것이다.

Park Kun-woong’s 2016 graphic novel Jessie’s Story is an adaptation of a parenting diary that was written by independence activists and published as a book in 1999. The original diary belonged to Yang Woo-jo and Choi Sun-Hwa, both independence activists, who kept a detailed record of the tumultuous years spent raising their daughter, Jessie, and working for the Korean Provisional Government in Shanghai, China, from 1938 to 1946.
