This is an introductory booklet on Lee Si-young, produced for the 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair, where Korea participated as the Guest of Honor for the first time and hosted the Korean Literature Tour Program. The author was one of the 62 delegates selected by LTI Korea’s Delegation Selection Committee on the basis of the following criteria: representativeness, existing publications of translated works, and overseas marketability. The entire literature program was co-organized by the LTI Korea, the Frankfurt Book Fair Organizing Committee, Daesan Cultural Foundation, Paradise Cultural Foundation and the International Communication Foundation (ICF). The events started at the Leipzig Book Fair in March and finished with the Guest of Honor Program in October. Lee Si-young participated in literary events in March. This 21-page booklet consists of: ‘Author’s Literary World’, ‘Poetry Excerpts’, ‘Voices of the Author and Critics’, ‘Biography’ and ‘Bibliography’. The material was put together and analyzed by the literary critic Kim Su-yi, and translated by Park Jang-hyeon. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. The booklet contains seven poems including ‘Mountain Pass’ translated into German. He participated in the Leipzig Book Fair in March. The German translation of his poetry collection In Between was published in 2012.

This is an introductory booklet on Jon Kyongnin, produced for the 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair, where Korea participated as the Guest of Honor for the first time and hosted the Korean Literature Tour Program. Jon Kyongnin participated in literary events in Hamburg and Bremen in May. Her work ‘A Story about an Ordinary Polka-dot Dress’ is included in the short story collection of the same title published in Germany in 2004.

Lee Si-young participated in literary events at Guadalajara International Book Fair and University of Guadalajara, where he interacted with readers in Mexico and read his poem “Jeongnim”.

This is an introductory material on poet Lee Si-young, produced for the 2012 Literary Event in Australia with Korean Poets. On August 29, poet Lee Si-young recited his poems and talked about his oeuvre at the poetry reading and reception held in the multipurpose hall of the Korean Cultural Center AU in Sidney, which was attended by over 80 people. On September 3, he also gave a general lecture on the history of Korean literature and read his works at Asialink in Melbourne. The event was attended by various people in the literary and cultural industries in Melbourne in addition to Australian poets, and broad discussions on the Korea-Australia exchange took place. The 25-page information booklet consists of two sections: “About the Author” and “About the Works.” It includes Lee’s poems such as “New Dawn”, “A Poem,” and “Springtime Rice-Field.”
