Plot

One day, Kang Du-yong, who lived with his wife Hong Gan-nan in the village of Ahopmorangi, dies. His children search for someone to live with the now-widowed elderly Hong Gan-nan in the countryside, and Gan-nan’s unemployed granddaughter Mu-sun is chosen to go to the countryside and live with her grandmother. Suddenly having come to the countryside, Mu-sun spends a few days, not having anything to do and not knowing how to get along with her grandmother. Then, one day, she accidentally discovers a treasure map that is assumed to have been drawn by her deceased grandfather. Afterward, Mu-sun gets involved in a search for missing people and a murderer related to the treasure map.

This is a novel by Park Yeon Sun, published in 2016. The author also wrote the scripts for TV dramas Yeonae sidae (Alone in Love) and Eolleong ttungttang heungshinso (Evasive Inquiry Agency). With the author’s cheery perspective and a well-organized plot, this novel presents incidents that ensue after the protagonist comes across a treasure map in a rural village in the mountains.

2016년에 출간된 박연선의 장편소설이다. 작가는 드라마<연애시대>와 <얼랑뚱땅 흥신소>의 대본을 쓰기도 했다. 작품은 첩첩산중에 있는 시골마을에서 우연히 발견된 보물지도로 벌어진 일들을 작가의 경쾌한 시선과 잘 짜여진 플롯을 통해 보여주고 있다.
