Plot

Gon can only breathe underwater due to the gills on his body. Due to this condition, Gon lives in isolation, cut off from the world. Gang-ha helps Gon, and Gon saves Hae-ryu's life. Gon, Gang-ha, and Hae-ryu support each other's different ways of being, and they bond as they withstand the unfortunate reality.

This is a novel by Gu Byeong-mo, published in 2011. Agami (Gills) is a sad fairy tale about a boy who gets to have gills on the threshold of death.
