2009년에 출간된 김이경의 소설집이다. 작가의 놀랍고 기발하며 참혹한 상상력을 바탕으로 책에 관한 다양한 이야기들이 시간과 공간을 오가며 펼쳐진다. <저승은 커다란 도서관>, <걸어다니는 책 대여점, 가시혼야>, <살아있는 도서관>등 모두 10편의 단편들이 수록되어 있다. 인간은 누구나 죽은 뒤에 저승에서 자신의 자서전을 써야한다거나 인간으 피부로 만든 책 장정 이야기, 걸어다니는 서점 이야기 등등이 다채롭게 펼쳐진다.

Published in 2009, this collection by Kim Igyeong includes ten of his short stories including “The Netherworld the Huge Library,” “Kashi Honya the Walking Book Rental Shop,” and “The Library Is Alive.” Imaginative and grotesque at the same time, the stories are most unexpected; for example, one character has to write his own autobiography in the world of the dead, and there are also a book made of human skin, and a walking bookstore.
