1994년에 출간된 최영미 시인의 첫 시집이다. 이 시집은 1980년대 학생운동을 벌였던 청년들의 순수성과 정열에 대한 비판을 드러내며 화제를 불러일으켰다. 무엇보다 표제시인 <서른, 잔치는 끝났다>는 1980년대식 삶이 끝났음을 알리는 강렬한 상징으로서 자리잡았다. 섬세하게 다듬어진 언어를 통해 서정적 세계를 보여주기도 한다.

This first collection of poems by Choi Youngmi was published in 1994, and it became controversial because she questioned the passion and sincerity of the people in the student movement. The title poem, “For a Thirty-Year Old, the Party's Over,” came to represent the end of the 1980s, and in the other poems in the collection, Choi creates a world of lyricism in a language that is polished and sensitive.
