This is the program book for the Seoul International Writers’ Festival 2020. Seoul International Writers’ Festival 2020 was held online from November 2 to 8, 2020, under the theme of “Writing Tomorrow.” A total of 25 writers from Korea and abroad participated in the festival, and a total of 2,894 people signed up in advance to attend. The program book consists of a set of instructions on how to participate in the festival, a program of events, information on each event, and a list of participants.

The sourcebook includes the results of the festival, information on the composition and operation of the events, information on participating writers, analytical results on surveys of participating writers and the audience, Opening and Closing Keynote Speeches, and related articles.

The theme of KLN Vol. 59 is “Deaths Forgotten, Names Erased.” In the cover feature essays, four literary critics and poets discuss Korean literature that reflects on the place of mourning and loss. This issue’s Featured Writer section includes an interview with Kim Yeonsu, the full text of his short story “A Future as Ordinary As This,” and an essay on Kim’s world of works by Cho Yeonjung. Moreover, the Bookmark section features the English translations of Kim Ji Yeon’s “When I Start Weeping,” Chung So-hyun’s “A Good Girl Like You,” four poems by Eins Hwang and An Taewoon, as well as The Story of Jeon Unchi.
