1983년에 출간된 시인 최승호의 첫 번째 시집이다. 이 시집은 눈이 쏟아지는 마을의 풍경을 통해 1980년대의 엄혹한 시대 상황을 묘사하고 있다. 표제시인 <대설주의보>는 "눈보라가 치는 백색의 계엄령"이라는 표현을 통해 얼어붙은 사회와 정치 상황을 강렬하게 인식시킨다. 1982년 제 6회 오늘의 작가상을 수상했다.

In this first collection of Choi Seung-ho’s poems, published in 1983, the poet uses the image of heavy snow falling on a town to describe Korea in the 1980s under political oppression. In the title poem, “Heavy Snow Warning,” he clearly juxtaposes political and social significance with snow imagery through the expression “The white martial law of snow.” He received the sixth Today’s Writer Award in 1982.
