Plot

A couple go on a trip separately with their lovers and come back home. While they are fighting over the ownership of the house, each demanding that the other leave, a stranger walks in and says the house belongs to him. Now it becomes impossible to know who is telling the truth.

1977년 <문학사상사>의 '신인발굴현상모집'에 당선된 이현화의 희곡이다. 2007년에 출간된 <이현화희곡.시나리오전집>(제1권)에 수록되어 있다. 작품은 현대사회를 살아가는 30대 부부를 통해 정체성 상실과 불안한 자아로 인해 흔들리고 사라지는 '모랄'을 보여주고 있다.

With this play, Yi Hyon-hwa won the Search for New Writers Contest Award sponsored by Literature and Thought Publishing Company in 1977, and it was later published in 2007 in Yi Hyon-hwa’s first collection of plays. Through the story of a couple in their thirties, the playwright portrays the loss of one’s identity, the unstable sense of self, and the absence of morality in the modern day.
