    This is an introductory booklet on Kim Yeonsu, produced for the 2005 Frankfurt Book Fair, where Korea participated as the Guest of Honor for the first time and hosted the Korean Literature Tour Program. The author was one of the 62 delegates selected by LTI Korea’s Delegation Selection Committee on the basis of the following criteria: representativeness, existing publications of translated works, and overseas marketability. The entire literature program was co-organized by the LTI Korea, the Frankfurt Book Fair Organizing Committee, Daesan Cultural Foundation, Paradise Cultural Foundation and the International Communication Foundation (ICF). The events started at the Leipzig Book Fair in March and finished with the Guest of Honor Program in October. Kim Yeonsu participated in literary events in March, April, May and September, and then in the main program in October. This 21-page booklet consists of: ‘Author’s Literary World’, ‘Analysis of End of the Sky and Corner of the Earth’, ‘Excerpt’, ‘Voices of the Author and Critics’, ‘Biography’ and ‘Bibliography’. The material was put together and analyzed by Lee Kyung-hoon, and translated by Elke Golchert-Jung. The photographs were taken by Han Young-hee. Kim Yeonsu participated in literary events in Hamburg and Bremen in May, and then at the Frankfurt Book Fair Korean Pavilion and in Hofheim and Kiel in October.

The five sessions in 2021 were Restorative Writing (participants: Kim Yeonsu, Max Porter), Rhythm of Recovery (participants: Sin Yongmok, Jan Wagner), Artificial Intelligence and Utopia (participants: Kwak Jaesik, Ken Liu), Literature and the Way Home (participants: Koh Jaejong, Nouri Al-Jarrah), and Beyond Historical Trauma (participants: Kim Soom, Vanessa Springora). The videos were each produced in two parts in collaboration with Korea Educational Broadcasting System (EBS).
