Plot

Living in a seaside village, the narrator is distressed by being bullied by other children. The narrator happens to meet “b,” whose family became poor to pay for the treatment of the incurable disease that b’s younger sibling is suffering from, and a mysterious man named “Chaek,” and the three characters depend on each other and comfort each other in these difficult times.
