Plot

Mun Jae-gu goes to Nagil Island to bury his father’s corpse in his hometown, as per his dying wish. But the people of the island have not forgotten that Mun Jae-gu’s father, Mun Deok-bae, had led the hunt to ferret out the “impure elements” as a commie. Enraged at Jae-gu’s request to bury his father on the island, the people of the island set fire to Deok-bae’s casket.
