Son point de vue féministe, d’une grande lucidité, renouvelle en profondeur la vision de la société coréenne contemporaine. Un vrai regard de femme libre ! Eun Hee-kyung, née en Corée en 1959, publie en 1996 son premier roman, le Cadeau de l’oiseau, prix Munhakdongne de la fiction. Elle fait paraître ensuite une dizaine de livres et obtient d’autres prix importants venant couronner une reconnaissance critique et un très grand succès populaire.
