This is an introductory material for novelist Shin Kyung-sook for the invitational event titled “Hearing from Three Representative Korean Female Writers” held at the Korean Cultural Center China on August 31, 2007, and a cultural conference of Korean-Chinese writers. At the 14th Beijing International Book Fair, Shin Kyung-sook introduced her world of works and her novel The Girl Who Wrote Loneliness, which was translated and published in Chinese, and had a discussion with the audience.
