This is an introductory booklet on author Kim Seong-Dong, produced for the 2012 Buenos Aires International Book Fair. During the book fair (April 30 ~ May 10, 2012), several Korean literary events—readings and lectures—were held at the exhibition hall, University of Buenos Aires, and the Korean Cultural Center in Argentina, in addition to interviews with local media outlets. On May 5 and 6, Kim Seong-Dong introduced and read from his work at the book fair. As Korean writers were invited to the book fair for the first time to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Argentina, the events drew much attention from local readers. This 18-page booklet consists of: “Lotus Blooming in the Mud”, “Novel Mandala”, “Mandala Extract”, “Voices of the Author and Critics”, “Biography and “Play”. The excerpt is taken from Mandala.
