2006년에 출간된 남진우 시인의 네 번째 시집이다. 표제시인 <새벽 세 시의 사자 한마리>를 포함하여 60편의 시가 수록되어 있다. 죽음에 대한 이미지, 그로테스크한 상상력으로 신성을 찾아나선다. 삶과 죽음의 경계가 허물어지 장소에서 타자를 만나는 독특한 사유의 방식이 특징적이다.

Published in 2006, this fourth collection by Nam Jin-woo introduces 60 poems including the title poem “A Lion at Three in the Morning.” In his poetry, he explores images of death and grotesqueness in order to search for  transcendental sacredness. He blurs the boundary between life and death, and in that blurring, he encounters the Other, which prompts his contemplation.
