Heo Yeongseon (1957~) is a South Korean poet. Heo lives in Jeju Island, and has written poetry about the 4.3 Incident, a tragic moment in the history of Jeju, as well as haenyeo (female divers of Jeju). By remembering the haenyeo’s will to live and  the tragedy of modern history, Heo considers the meaning of life.

허영선(1957~)은 한국의 시인이다. 작가는 제주에 거주하면서 제주의 비극적인 역사인 4.3사건을 시적 주제와 소재로 삼은 작품들과 제주의 해녀들을 주제로 삼은 작품들을 발표해오고 있다. 작가에게 해녀가 지닌 삶의 의지와 현대사의 비극을 기억하는 것은 삶의 의미를 고찰하는 작업에 해당한다.    


许荣善(1957-)，韩国诗人。因定居于济州，其作品多以济州的历史悲剧“四三事件”及济州海女为主题和素材。对诗人而言，记录海女的生活意志和现代史悲剧是一项探讨人生意义的工作。
