Park Si-jong (1942) is a South Korean American novelist who debuted in 1969 with the novels Chodae (초대 The Invitation) and Geudeurui sidae (그들의 시대 Their Generation). Park emigrated from Korea in 1971, and lived in countries such as Japan, the United States, and Austria, depicting the struggles and hopes of Korean-Americans making a new life in the United States. Park was awarded the Yi Sang Literary Award in 1983 for Yeongnyu (역류 Countercurrent).

박시정(1942~)은 재미 한인 소설가다. 1969년 《현대문학》에 소설 <초대>, <그들의 시대>를 발표하며 문단 활동을 시작했다. 1971년에 한국을 떠나 일본, 미국, 오스트리아 등에서 생활하며 소설을 썼다. 재미 한인들이 미국 땅에서 겪는 고통과 희망을 그려냈다고 평가된다. 1983년 <역류>로 이상문학상 우수상을 수상했다.


朴始贞(1942-)，在美韩裔小说家。1969年在《现代文学》发表小说《邀请》（《초대》）和《他们的时代》（《그들의 시대》），从此开始创作活动。1971年离韩赴日、美、奥地利等国生活，期间继续从事小说创作工作。其作品刻画了旅美韩裔在美国的痛苦和希望。1983年作品《逆流》（《역류》）获李箱文学奖优秀奖。        小说集《云间彩虹》（《구름 사이에 무지개를》，1997）、《当枫叶落在奔腾的谢南多厄河时》（《흐르는 쉐난도우 강물 위에 단풍잎 질 때》，2016）
